Appointment Scheduling and Attendance Policy
CMIT prioritizes differentiated medical consultations, with dedicated and personalized clinical time. The scheduling policy reflects a commitment to quality care and respect for all patients.

Confirmation of the first consultation
In order to ensure the proper organization of the clinical schedule and effective availability for all patients, first consultations will only be formally confirmed after payment of 25% of the total consultation fee, as a deposit.
Payment must be made within a maximum of 48 hours after scheduling, via bank transfer or online payment. If confirmation is not received within this period, the appointment will be automatically released.

Validation of the appointment
The consultation is only considered definitively scheduled after confirmation of receipt and validation of the payment by CMIT.

Cancellation with refund of the deposit
Cancellation with the right to a full refund of the deposit must be requested up to 15 days before the consultation date. Cancellations made after this deadline are not eligible for a refund, except in unforeseen and duly justified clinical situations (for example, acute illness or accident), subject to assessment by the Clinical Directorate.

Failure to attend the consultation
Failure to attend the scheduled consultation, without valid justification, implies full retention of the deposit amount. Any justifications must be communicated within 2 working days after the consultation date for review by the Clinical Directorate.

Rescheduling
Requests for rescheduling should be made as far in advance as possible, ideally up to 15 days before the scheduled date. Late rescheduling may result in loss of the deposit, unless there is a valid clinical reason.

Attendance and management of the clinical schedule
CMIT values a relationship of rigor, respect, and commitment with its patients. Situations of repeated absences, successive last-minute cancellations, or failure to comply with scheduling rules may result in restriction or suspension of future bookings, ensuring fairness in access and proper management of the clinical schedule.

Prior confirmation of subsequent consultations
In order to ensure the best management of the clinical schedule and effective availability for all patients, a confirmation request for subsequent consultations will be sent 15 days in advance and again 7 days before the scheduled date.
If confirmation from the patient is not received up to 48 hours before the consultation, CMIT will assume that attendance is not possible, and the consultation may be automatically canceled and the time slot made available to other patients.
